The Leboncoin x Bricks.ai project kicks off in 2018. The initial challenges?

  • A better visualization of data for salespeople;
  • A marketing harmonization of the content created.

Launched in 2006, Leboncoin is France's leading site for sales between individuals, with 27 million ads posted daily. The platform puts individuals in touch with each other via a supply and demand relationship.

The brand has diversified into several sectors and has become the leader in the automotive and real estate markets.

Context and challenges

The context of the Leboncoin x Bricks.ai project

Leboncoin processes a large volume of data related to its customers: statistics on the display of ads, the number of visits to the site per month and the number of ads posted by customers.
Leboncoin's sales, customer and professional teams need to be able to view and leverage data about their ads in order to implement the right strategies.

The formatting of this data is also key. In fact, salespeople need a sales automation tool that allows them to inject statistical data in a harmonized and exploitable way into their sales presentations, in the form of graphs, tables or texts - in the Leboncoin style.

Project Challenges

The Leboncoin x Bricks.ai project had as its objective the resolution of two main issues:

The possibility for the marketing, data and sales team to exploit the totality of the customer data, without manual reprocessing. The objective was to make the Data easily exploitable and visualizable, on formats that remain accessible to the non "tech" profiles that are the marketing and sales teams.

The harmonization of content created by the sales teams, spread across the country, with a centralized marketing team.

In summary, Leboncoin needed a solution that would allow them to use and format their most up-to-date data in sales presentations. This was to ensure commercial efficiency as well as brand image harmonization.

Project and results

The Leboncoin x Bricks.ai project

In order to exploit the Leboncoin data and visualize it easily and quickly in harmonized sales presentations, the project was carried out along 3 axes

  1. Data side: structured Leboncoin data is connected to the Bricks.ai platform. This platform interprets the data and, if necessary, performs the calculations for the formatting.

  2. Marketing side: the models of slides and sales pitches are loaded into the platform, according to the charter, with customization variables integrated in the key locations (graphics, tables, cover...).

  3. On the sales side: sales representatives simply connect to the online interface to select the relevant bricks for their client, and the desired time period for the data. They validate and obtain in a few clicks an updated and harmonized presentation, while keeping the possibility to edit it in Google Slides.

The commercial presentations are thus fed by the data, in a harmonized way, while remaining exploitable in output.

Results of the Leboncoin x Bricks.ai project

Thanks to this project, the Leboncoin teams were able to:

  • Save valuable time in the creation of their sales materials;
  • Gain in quality, thanks to the interconnection of data;
  • Gain in homogeneity in their sales supports.

This is also beneficial for Leboncoin's clients who, regardless of their size, receive a high level of information and quality.

Leboncoin also plans to connect its Salesforce CRM to Bricks.ai.
This will allow salespeople to have a 360-degree view of their customer's information, and impact their sales effectiveness.
